The Journey of BD Kim
Hello, this is BD Kim.
This space is the canvas of my soul.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the over one hundred visitors who honor this site daily.
May the works embodying peace and serenity always bring you health and happiness.
Over the past year and this, amidst Korea’s political circumstances and my personal journey,
I have experienced moments that were both destined and inevitable.
During this time, I have been conceiving and preparing various works,
and I now wish to gradually unfold this bundle of creations to share with you.
Beginning on October 3, I have embarked on the project
“BDKim – Art on the Move,” in celebration of global peace and APEC 2025 Korea.
A nationwide art-tour exhibition using a truck as its canvas,
it reaches its final destination in Gyeongju, the heart of APEC,
where it unveils two original paintings (2.5 m each), truck-based works,
21 video pieces, and 21 NFT artworks.
The 21 NFT pieces are messages of peace,
dedicated to the leaders and citizens of the APEC member nations.
These works are permanently stored on the third-generation blockchain,
utilizing the Proof-of-Work (POW)–based SASEUL Blockchain Node.
They are one-second video art pieces titled “The Dancing Flag of Peace,”
which reinterpret the national flags of APEC members
through the energies of Yin and Yang.
Distinct lights converge into one, symbolizing the energy of peace.
Stored on-chain, this message of global harmony will endure eternally—
so long as even a single node PC exists anywhere in the world.
The truck gallery touring the nation alongside the “Dancing Flags”
draws forth new energy for the Earth.
BDKim’s art pioneers the origins of a future “Primordial Art for the Age of Spirituality.”
A century or a millennium hence, it will serve as a canvas
for future generations to rediscover the light of the soul and peace.
Through symbols of light, line, seed, and peace,
it dissolves the boundary between reality and the unreal,
inviting an expansion of inner life.
Both The Dancing Flag of Peace—forever preserved on the blockchain—
and Beyond the Whole World, first exhibited at the summit of Mount Baekdu,
symbolize the energy of diverse lines and lights becoming one,
serving as a spiritual legacy for the happiness of future children
and the peace of our Earth.
This is not merely visual art,
but a sanctuary of contemplation and meditation—
a bridge connecting life and death, moment and eternity—
where art transcends definition
and is reborn freely within the universe of each viewer.
Your gaze becomes the seed of my light.

현재는 세계 평화와 APEC 2025 Korea를 기념해
10월 3일부터 ‘BDKim 예술이 달린다’ 프로젝트를 진행 중입니다.
트럭을 캔버스로 한 전국 아트투어 전시로,
종착지는 APEC의 중심, 경주에서
2.5m 원화 2점, 트럭 작품, 영상 작품 21점, NFT 작품 21점을 공개합니다.
21개 NFT 작품은 APEC 참가국 정상과 국민께 헌정하는 평화의 메시지입니다.
이 작품들은 3세대 POW 방식 사슬 블록체인 노드에 영구 저장되며,
APEC 참가국의 국기를 음(陰)·양(陽)의 에너지로 재해석한
‘평화가 춤추는 국기’ 1초 영상 예술입니다.
서로 다른 빛이 하나 되어 평화의 에너지를 상징하며,
온체인에 저장되어 노드 PC 한 대만 존재해도
영원히 세계 평화의 메시지를 전합니다.
‘춤추는 국기’와 함께 전국을 순회하는 트럭 갤러리는
지구를 위한 새로운 에너지를 그려 갑니다.
BDKim의 예술은
미래 ‘영성시대 원시예술’의 기원을 만들어 갑니다.
백 년, 천 년 후 미래 세대가
영혼의 빛과 평화를 재발견하는 캔버스로서,
빛과 선·씨앗·평화 같은 상징을 통해
현실과 비현실의 경계를 허물고
내면의 삶을 확장해 갈 것입니다.
블록체인에 영구 저장된 ‘춤추는 국기’ 작품과
백두산 정상에서 전시된 ‘온 세상 너머에서’ 작품은
서로 다른 선과 빛이 하나 되는 에너지를 상징하며,
미래 아이들의 행복과 지구 평화를 위한 영적 유산이 될 것입니다.
이는 단순한 시각 예술이 아닌,
사유와 명상의 성소로서
삶과 죽음, 순간과 영원을 연결하는 ‘시간의 다리’ 역할을 하며,
예술은 규정되지 않고 감상자의 우주에서
새롭게 태어나 자유를 찾을 것입니다.
